DESCRIPTION MUSICAL POWDER JAR Rating: 8 Comments. Made of metal this face powder holder measures 4” high x 5 ¼” wide/deep and it is more than 75 years old. It has a wood base as well as mini feet, a ¾” deep round indent under its domed top and was made by Cody Musical Creations of New York. When you lift the cover the music box plays “Loveliest Night Of The Year” and the tune ends when the cover is placed back on. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, has some wear on its original paint, light soiling, it appears there was something in the center of the cover as seen in our photo and it is at our Auction Gallery for preview. Give it a cleaning and it will make a nice vintage addition to your antique makeup table. Please click here for an explanation of our (1-10) Rating System. Maximum Bidding
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids." A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item. Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid." The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest. This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid" **NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail. **If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid" |
