OLD WALNUT CANTERBURY MAGAZINE STAND

Rating: 8
Comments. Made of walnut by the Brant Company of Hagerstown MD this Canterbury style magazine stand is 15” high, 16 ¼” wide, 11 ¼” deep and it is more than 50 years old. It has a hand hole in the center divider for transporting, turned legs/supports and arched top on the sides as well as ends with rectangular shaped openings. Each side has a 9 ½” deep x 4 ½” wide compartment to hold your periodicals and it has a cast brass medallion on the top of each of its supports. What appears to be the original finish has wear, scratches/scrapes and a nice warm brown hue. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, small, shallow wood dents, a couple of very small chips and light soiling. Give it a quick cleaning and you'll have a stylish piece to hold all your favorite magazines that will look nice next to your favorite reading chair and is at our Auction Gallery for preview.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
