COMPLETE AKRO-AGATE CHILDS DISH SET (WITH 1930'S ORIGINAL BOX)
Age. Circa 1930s
Composition. Glass, paper
Size. See below
Rating: Dish set – 8, box – 6
Comments. This children’s tea set was manufactured by The Akro Agate Company of Clarksburg West Virginia. This lot contains four each of 3 ¼" plates, 2 ¾” saucers and 1 ¼” high cups. There is a 1 ¼” high creamer as well as sugar bowl and a 3” high tea pot with cover. The pieces are made out of white or jadeite glass and are somewhat heavy for their size. The tea set is in good shape with normal use wear, has a few small flecks and has some soiling. Also included is the original box which has wear, small tears and soiling/stains as seen in our photo. A nice, collectible playset that will keep your modern-day children just as amused has the original owners were.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
