DESCRIPTION

ANTIQUE OIL PAINTING “DANCE OF THE NYMPTHS” IN ORNATE GILT FRAME
Age: Approximately 100+ years old.

Size: Frame: 29” x 25” Site:16” x 20”

Composition: Oil on Canvas, ornate gilt frame

Rating:7

Comments: A well executed antique painting in oil after Camille Corot's master painting “The Dance of the Nymphs”, possibly a study. Vanish on the painting has yellowed and there is a surface mark in the varnish in the upper right corner, but there are no rips, holes or tears. The ornate gilt frame is in good solid condition with just one small chip to the gesso in upper right corner. Gold color shows fading consistent with age. If you can't afford the one in the Paris Louvre, this is the next best thing!

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
