19TH CENTURY HAND MADE LADDERBACK CHAIR (POSSIBLY SHAKER)
Age. Circa 1800s
Composition. Hard wood, rush
Size. 39” high x 18 ½” wide
Comments. This antique ladder back chair has arched top back rests and turned tops on its back supports. The hand rush is in good shape and has a tight weave. The chair has exposed leg tops and turned stretchers. The woods somewhat recent finish has minor wear, shade variations and only a few small scratches/scrapes. The chair is in sturdy shape with wear, small, shallow wood dents and has a few small chips. One of the side seat frame supports is broken and needs to be repaired before it can be used. Per the consignor this could possibly be a Shaker made chair but we are unsure. Needs work but when done will make a nice addition to your antique homes decor.

Also, please feel free to email or call us if you have any further questions.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
