OLD 50 LB. HANGING SPRING SCALE

Age. More than 80 years old

Comments. This scale has an all metal body, solid steel ring as well as hook and a solid brass designation plate. Marked” SPD 19” it measures from 0 to 50 pounds in half pound increments. The metals original black paint has wear, shade variations and scratches/scrapes. The scale is in good, sturdy shape with normal use wear, has some fine pitting, minor surface rust, soiling and has a split in the bottom plate where the hook is. Give it a cleaning and it will make a nice decorative item in your country kitchen or repurpose it to hang one of your favorite plants from.
