OLD IRON SLATE BARAge. More than 80 years old
Size. 28 ˝” long
Comments. This is a vintage bar which was used in the removal of slates on roofs back in the good old days. It could be used to raise a piece of slate for repair or the hooks were used to yank the nails out of the roof, so it could be removed. It has a tapered form from back to front and a raised round handle. This item is in good shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear, has some wear/scratches in the paint, minor surface rust and has some soiling. It is stamped on the blade” BRADES ENGLAND” and is heavy for its size. A handy tool when repairing those old roofs or could be repurposed into many new uses.

Also, please feel free to email or call us if you have any further questions.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
