OLD BLACK WALNUT PICTURE FRAME WITH MEDIEVAL MERCHANT PRINT

Age. More than 50 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 23” high x 27” wide
Rating: 8
Comments. The Victorian era frame has a fancy profile and is made of solid black walnut with a painted gilt plaster over wood inner frame. It is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has a few small, shallow wood dents, minor finish wear and light soiling. The print is quite colorful and depicts a medieval merchant dealing with what appears to be a ship’s Captain over his goods. The print is in good shape with normal wear and minor soil. Give this item a cleaning and it makes a nice size print for over the mantle or behind the side board.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
