| DESCRIPTION ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS OAK SCHOOLHOUSE CLOCK Age: Approximately 85 - 100+ years old. Size: 24” high x 16” wide x 5” deep Composition: Oak, wood, veneer Rating: 8 Comments: This solid wood case has an octagonal top and the original paper label inside. It has a paper dial cover and a brass frame with glass hinged dial cover. The bottom door has a reversed painted glass panel that allows you to see the plain brass pendulum inside. The original finish has some wear and a few small scratches/scrapes and has darkened somewhat over the decades. The case is in good, sturdy shape with no breaks, having normal use wear, very minor wood wear and light soiling. The dial cover sags slightly when open and the dial has some slightly darker spots. There is a small edge dent on the cover’s outer ring. We had it working for a while and it kept good time, but due to its age, we are selling it as is. This is a good looking clock that will make a nice addition to any wall. Please click here for an explanation of our (1-10) Rating System. Maximum Bidding
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids." A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item. Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid." The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest. This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid" **NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail. **If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid" |
