ANTIQUE DROP FRONT CHEST ON STAND

Age. See below
Composition. Wood, veneer
Size. 44” high x 29 ½” wide x 15” deep
Rating: 8
Comments. This cabinet has a metal label on it from the” Pooley Radio Cabinet Company” of Philadelphia and has a patent date of January 5, 1926. It has turned legs, a fancy cut stretcher and lots of solid wood appliqués. The original radio was taken out and a desk interior added which has lots of cubbies as well as a pencil holder. It has lots of routed edges and pressed in grooves on the drop front which also has a solid brass handle with a heart shape. The woods original finish has wear, shade variations and a few small scratches/scrapes. This item is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has wood wear, small, shallow wood dents, a small missing piece of veneer in the front and has some soiling/stains especially on the top. Give it a cleaning and it will make a handy addition in your home. Keep it as a desk or repurpose it into many other useful items to help you in your everyday life.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
