DESCRIPTION

(18) PIECES OF ASSORTED OLD SILVERWARE

Rating: 8
Comments. The pieces in this lot are made of silverplated metal which vary in size and all appeared to be more than 50 years old. They were made by either Waldo, Rogers, Ideal, Reed & Barton, Branford, Community, H. Lee & Son and Standard. The lot includes spoons, tongs, butter knives and a meat fork that has a sterling handle. There is also a souvenir spoon of the Libby Prison War Museum as well as one from the US Battleship Iowa and what appears to be an olive spoon. Everything is in the good shape with normal use wear, could have some minor plate wear and lots of tarnish. Give them a cleaning and you’ll have some fancy utensils to use on those special occasions.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
