DESCRIPTION

OLD 18” WELLER FLEMISH PEDESTAL

Age. More than 75 years old
Composition. Pottery
Size. 17 ¾” high x 9” wide/deep
Rating: 8
Comments. This is a vintage "Flemish" Pedestal that was made by Weller Pottery and has an Art Nouveau style. It has a cream – colored exterior glaze and its pressed designs of flowers stems and are done in shades of green, brown as well as red glazes. There is an 8 ¼” round flat space at the top for your jardinière and this pedestal is hollow. It is in good shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear, has fine glaze crazing that has some darkening in the lines, and has some soiling. Give it a cleaning and it will make a nice place to showcase one of your favorite plants or jardinière.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
