DESCRIPTION

EARLY PINE DOVETAILED SEA CHEST ( ORIGINAL RED PAINT)

Rating: 6
Comments. This chest measures 17 ˝” high, 49 ˝” wide, 17 ” deep and is more than 100 years old. Made from six very wide pine boards it has large dovetailed corners, cast-iron handles on the sides and a 15” deep interior. The red paint has wear, shade variations, small missing spots, scratches/scrapes and a nice aged patina. This item is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has wood wear, small chips, small, shallow wood dents and soiling/stains. The hinges have been replaced and there is a recent repair to the split on the top as seen in our photo. Needs work but when done you’ll have a nice looking chest to place around your home or in front of your bed for storage.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
