(3) WOODWORKING PLANES
Age. More than 30 years old
Composition. Metal, wood
Size. See below
Comments. This lot includes planes that are marked either Craftsman, Stanley or Bailey and are either 9 ½" or 15” long. One has a patent date of 1902 while another has one of 1910. All have cast-iron frames, hard wood handles and all have their steel blades. The larger Stanley even has its original decal on the rear handle. All are in good shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear, have some paint wear, could have some minor surface rust and some soiling. The bottom of the small number 4 Stanley has a grooved face. Give them a cleaning and this trio is ready to go to work in your wood working shop.
Please click here for an explanation of our (1-10) Rating System.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
