DESCRIPTION

ANTIQUE ROLL FRONT SHELF BOX WITH MIRROR BACK
Age. More than 100 years old
Composition. Walnut
Size. 20” high x 11 ½” wide x 6 ½” deep
Rating: 8
Comments. Victorian era shelf box is made of black walnut and has a 4” high pivoting cylinder style front piece. It has a mini shelf above and a pair of candleholders on each side of the mirror. It is a style number 66 and was made by the Novelty Manufacturing Company of Syracuse, NY per the original paper label on the back. It has nice pressed design as well has a star on its top. The woods finish has wear, shade variations and a few small scratches/scrapes. This item is in good, sturdy shape with no breaks having normal use wear, has some minor wood wear and has some soiling. We are unsure if the top of the cylinder section was originally veneered. Give it a light polish and it’s ready to decorate the wall of your Victorian home.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
