DESCRIPTION

(10) QUARTER PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE/AMBROTYPE PHOTOS

Rating: 8-7
Comments. This lot includes quarter plate daguerreotypes well as ambrotype photographs which vary in size, but all are more than 100 years old. The lot includes photos of men, ladies, children and even sisters. All have very good exposures and three are daguerreotypes. Four of them are in complete cases, most have brass frames around the images as seen in our photo and one of the complete cases is made of gutta percha. This lot is in good shape having normal use wear, minor soiling, wear/tears in some of the covers/cases and some are missing their covers or case as seen in our photo.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
