DESCRIPTION

VICTORIAN MARBLE MANTLE CLOCK

Age. Circa 1800s
Composition. See below
Size. 8 high x 15 wide x 7 deep
Rating: 7
Comments. This Victorian era mantle clock has a black marble facing over its body which has grooves/dot designs and has green stone inserts in the front. The dial cover has a beveled glass insert which covers a two-part porcelain dial. Clock has brass works some of which are exposed front and has fancy hands. This clock is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has some fine scratches, has a few small flecks/chips and there is a missing piece as well has a quite noticeable glue repair on another piece in the marble on the left-hand side. There is no pendulum or winding key so we are unsure if it works and this clock is being sold as is. Needs some work but when done will make a very fancy time piece for the mantle of your Victorian home. It has lots of nice details and well worth the restoration effort.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
