DESCRIPTION (3) ANTIQUE MACHINIST CALIPERS Rating: 8 Comments. Made of metal these machinist calipers vary in size and are more than 100 years old. It includes a 3 ¾ " high OD caliper made by the Athol Machine Company, a 6" high OD caliper made by Bemis and Call of Springfield Mass and a 5 ¾ " high ID caliper that was made by L.S. Starrett.
