DESCRIPTION

47” ANTIQUE BLACK WALNUT BACK BOARD

Age. More than 100 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 31 ¼” high x 47” wide
Rating: 7
Comments. Made of ¾" thick black walnut this backboard as black walnut appliqués and lots of groove as well as spoon carved designs. There is a space for a 16” x 14” mirror and this item is heavy for its size. Its original finish has wear, shade variations and scratches/scrapes. This item is in sturdy shape no apparent breaks having normal wear, has some wood wear, has some soiling/stains and has a few small, shallow wood dents/. There are screw holes throughout which once held shelves, moldings, brackets and more which are not included. Needs work but this antique can be repurposed for many new uses in your modern-day home.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
