19TH CENTURY SUGAR BUCKET (FIRKIN) WITH ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT

Rating: 6
Comments. Made of wood this antique firkin is 7 ½" high x 8 ½" wide/deep and is circa 19th century. It has wood stays that are nailed in place and a metal rod as well turned wood handle. What appears to be the original blue paint has wear, shade variations, missing spots and scratches/scrapes. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, some small chips, small, shallow wood dents, soiling/stains and the top has a thin wood joint separation line as well as a loose stay that needs to be reattached. Needs a little work but when done you'll have a nice size firkin with aged blue paint that will make a nice decorative item in any home.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
